　　泰顺元宵节·百家宴，由最初的祈福、祭祀活动，发展到现在已有800多年历史。活动当天，不管远近，来者都是客，都可以参加聚餐，“百家宴”上吃的全是地道的泰顺农家菜，有什锦菜、红烧肉、炒年糕等，这些菜在一定程度上也成了泰顺人心中幸福、吉祥的象征。
　　The Lantern Festival·Hundred-Family Banquet in Taishun has a history of  more than 800 years as a blessing and sacrificial activity at first. On the day  of the activity, all visitors are guests, regardless of distance, and can join  the banquet. The “Hundred-Family Banquet” only involves authentic farm-flavored  dishes in Taishun, such as olio, bouilli, fried rice cake, which are the symbol  of happiness and auspice in the heart of Taishun people to some extent.

　　“百家宴”举办当天，村民要组织好几千人的队伍，抬着“陈十四娘娘”上街游行和踩街，并一路表演舞龙、舞狮，演奏民乐，夜里放烟花、表演药发木偶等。  “百家宴”举办期间，民间各种各样的活动内容丰富，精彩纷呈，包含了众多的非遗的项目。
　　On the day when “Hundred-Family Banquet” is held, the villagers will  organize thousands of people to carry “Chen Fourteenth Goddess” to parade and  perform dragon and lion dances and play folk music in the street, set off  fireworks and perform Yaofa puppet in the evening, etc. When “Hundred-Family  Banquet” is held, the folk activities are various and colorful, including  numerous projects of intangible cultural heritage.
　　2007年，泰顺因为“百家宴”被确定为浙江省元宵节传统节日保护示范地。2010年2月28日(农历正月十五)，泰顺“百家宴”以三魁镇与雅阳镇同摆5456桌创历年之最，成功创下“天下第一福宴”载入基尼斯纪录。
　　Taishun was determined to be the demonstration area for protection of  traditional Lantern Festival of Zhejiang Province for “Hundred-Family Banquet”  in 2007. On February 28 (January 15 on the lunar calendar), 2010,  “Hundred-Family Banquet” of Taishun set a new record with Sankui Town and Yayang  Town preparing 5456 tables together, successfully creating the “largest banquet  in the world” and going down in Guinness Record.

　　三月三为谷米的生日，家家吃乌米饭。传说，唐代畲族英雄雷万兴率起义军抗击官军围剿，以乌稔果充饥而军威大振，于三月三这天突围成功，连战连捷。畲民为纪念此事，每年三月三要吃乌米饭，集会对歌。
　　March 3 is the birthday of grain. All eat black rice. The legend goes that  Lei Wanxing, a hero of She Minority in the Tang Dynasty, led the insurgents to  resist the siege of government army. Boosting morale with fruit of Vaccinium  bracteatum Thunb, they successfully broke out the encirclement and were  victorious in battle after battle on March 3. In order to commemorate this, She  people eat black rice and gather to sing in antiphonal style on March 3 every  year.
　　泰顺司前畲族镇与竹里畲族乡是全省18个民族乡镇中文化特色较为突出的两个乡镇。当地的许多居民能歌善舞，淳朴自然的民族歌舞表演受到了本地居民和游客的欢迎。泰顺县畲族文化是省非物质文化遗产生态保护区试点单位，“三月三”活动同时在司前畲族镇和竹里畲族乡举行，其中对歌表演和畲族婚嫁习俗表演成为游客紧密“跟拍”的对象。当地的妇女身着畲族服装，高歌庆祝他们的节日，而婚嫁表演中由一头牛开路，寓意“开辟新路”的迎亲场面，生动展示了畲族婚俗的特色，场面十分热烈。节日里还要赶舞场，跳起火把舞、木拍灵刀舞、竹竿舞、龙灯舞、狮子舞、鱼灯舞。同时还有问凳、操石磉、腹顶棍、操杠、赶野猪等畲族民间竞技。
　　Siqian She Minority Town and Zhuli She Minority Town of Taishun are two  towns with relatively distinctive cultural characteristics among the 18 national  towns. Many local residents are good at singing and dancing, while simple and  natural national songs and dances are favored by local residents and tourists.  Culture of She Minority in Taishun County is the ecological reserve pilot unit  of provincial intangible cultural heritage. “March 3” activity is held  simultaneously in Siqian She Minority Town and Zhuli She Minority Town, and the  performance of singing in antiphonal style and marriage customs of She Minority  becomes the object of tourists’ close “following shot”. Local women sing loudly  to celebrate their festival in clothes of She Minority, while in the marriage  performance, a cattle leads the way, meaning the welcoming scene of “carving out  a new way”, vividly showing the characteristics of She marriage in a very warm  scene. During festivals, they will go to many ballrooms for torch dance, Mupai  Lingdao dance, bamboo pole dance, dragon latern dance, lion dance and fish  lantern dance. And there are Ask Stool, Roll Stone Base, Push Stick with Belly,  Lift Thick Stick, Drive Wild Boar and other folk games of She Minority.
　　“三月三”节日活动是畲族人文历史的缩影，具有鲜明的民族特征和浓郁的乡土气息。

　　廊桥文化旅游节于每年的11月份拉开序幕，以“弘扬廊桥文化，助推乡村旅游”为主题，以廊桥文化为主线，以乡村休闲活动为点，活动内容丰富，如：中国·泰顺廊桥全国书法百家作品邀请展、中国廊桥文化·泰顺论坛、泰顺民俗文化展、泰顺特色小吃及绿色食品展、休闲运动趣味赛、泰顺生态风光游和焰火晚会等主题板块活动。  2010年廊桥文化旅游节开幕式上举行了中国廊桥博物园授牌、《中国·泰顺廊桥全国书法百家作品邀请展作品集》首发、《我在廊桥等你》歌曲发布等主题活动。
　　Covered Bridge Cultural Tourism Festival is opened in November annually,  with “carry forward covered bridge culture, promote rural tourism” as the theme,  covered bridge culture as the mainline and rural leisure activities as the  point. There are various activities, such as: China·Taishun Covered Bridge  National Invitation Exhibition of Hundreds of Calligraphy Works, China Covered  Bridge Culture·Taishun Forum, Exhibition of Taishun Folk Culture, Exhibition of  Taishun Characteristic Snacks and Green Food, Funny Competition of Leisure  Activities, Taishun Ecological Scenery Tour, Fireworks Party and other theme  activities. Plaque awarding ceremony of China Covered Bridge Museum, debut of  Collection of China·Taishun Covered Bridge National Invitation Exhibition of  Hundreds of Calligraphy Works, release of song I’m Waiting for You on a  Covered Bridge and other theme activities were held at the opening ceremony  of Covered Bridge Cultural Tourism Festival in 2010.

　　泰顺药发木偶起源于宋，是以火药带动木偶表演的一种独具观赏价值的民间手工技艺。主要用于农村中庙会、年节、寿诞等大型活动。仅泰顺县域内仍保留有原生态的技艺。
　　Taishun Yaofa puppet stems from the Song Dynasty as a folk craftsmanship  that drives the puppets to perform with gunpowder with unique ornamental value.  It is mainly used for temple fair, the Spring Festival holidays, birthday and  other large activities in rural areas. The primitive skill is only preserved in  Taishun County.
　　泰顺的药发木偶是宝贵的民间文化遗产，其价值体现在学术与欣赏两个方面，药发木偶和水木偶曾一度被认为国内早已失传，但泰顺有关部门研究考证后发现，长期以来存在泰顺民间的“琼花木偶”即为药发木偶，它已传承不断几百年，为我们木偶戏研究提供了宝贵的实证。
　　The Yaofa puppet of Taishun is precious folk cultural heritage with  academic and appreciation values. Yaofa and water puppets were once deemed to  have long been lost in China, but the relevant departments of Taishun found  after textual research that “Qionghua puppet” that have long existed among the  people in Taishun is the Yaofa puppet, which has been passed on for hundreds of  years to provide valuable demonstration for us to study puppet show.

　　距今已流传800多年历史的泰顺提线木偶，一般有16条至50余条纤细的提线。木偶艺人凭借精湛的传统线规和娴熟的表演技巧，创造了众多栩栩如生的角色，体现了提线木偶戏的细腻逼真。泰顺木偶头用樟木或纹质较细腻的杂木雕刻而成，特制木偶头内设机关，通过丝线控制，使眼、鼻、口、舌活动。至今，泰顺的民间木偶戏班仍有30多个，活跃在当地乡村，已成为老百姓不可或缺的一项文化活动。
　　The marionette of Taishun that has been passed on for over 800 years  generally has 16 to over 50 thin threads. Puppet artists create numerous  lifelike roles through exquisite traditional wire gauge and proficient  performance skill to embody how delicate and lifelike the marionette show is.  Taishun puppet head is carved with camphorwood or miscellaneous wood with fine  texture. Special puppet head is set with mechanism inside and controlled through  silk thread to move its eyes, nose, mouth and tongue. So far, there are still  more than 30 folk puppet show troupes active in local rural areas in Taishun,  which has become an indispensable cultural activity for the common people.
　　泰顺提线木偶戏先后荣获“国家遗产日奖”、列为第三批国家级非物质文化遗产名录、“浙江省非物质文化遗产传承基地(木偶戏)”称号。
　　Taishun marionette show has successively won “National Heritage Day Award”  and the title of “Base for Inheritance of Intangible Cultural Heritage of  Zhejiang Province (Puppet Show)” and has been included into the list of the  third group of state-level intangible cultural heritage.

　　下桥村位于泰顺县泗溪镇，紧靠58省道(S331)边，被誉为“世界最美廊桥”北涧桥、溪东桥建于此地。地势平坦，四条溪流穿境而过，交通便捷，风景秀丽，环境优雅。
　　Located in Sixi Town of Taishun County, Xiaqiao Village is adjacent to  No.58 Provincial Highway (S331), where Beijian Bridge and Xidong Bridge reputed  as the “most beautiful covered bridge in the world” are located. The land is  flat; four streams pass through; transportation is convenient; scenery is  beautiful; and environment is elegant.

　　村尾村位于泰顺县城西北浙闽交界处，境内山清水秀，植被茂密，有古廊桥、古民居、千年古道、孔岩溪瀑布、毛竹观光园等优美景观。村尾村先后被评为中国美丽乡村，被命名为省级生态示范村、省级整治示范村和省级全面小康建设示范村，同时入选为首届温州市十佳魅力乡村、温州市十大农家乐旅游示范村。
　　On the border between Zhejiang and Fujian in northwest Taishun County,  Cunwei Village enjoys picturesque scenery, dense vegetation, ancient covered  bridge, ancient local dwelling, millennium road, Kongyanxi waterfall, moso  bamboo sightseeing garden and other beautiful landscapes. Cunwei Village has  been rated as China Beautiful Village, named provincial ecological demonstration  village, provincial regulation demonstration village and provincial  comprehensive well-off construction demonstration village, and simultaneously  elected into the first top ten attractive villages and top ten agritainment  demonstration villages of Wenzhou.
